It may have been cold but everyone had a great time skating the bay and enjoying hot chocolate and cookies by the fire. Thank you to Dr. Eric’s Skate Club for partnering with our neighborhood and everyone else who made this event possible. We can’t wait until next year!

State of the City 2019
Our Neighborhood Association was recognized at the annual State of the City address on Monday, March 18th. We were presented with the Neighborhood Association Volunteerism Recognition award by Greater Oshkosh Healthy Neighborhoods Inc.
This award goes to the neighborhood association with the most volunteer hours over the previous year, and serves as a reminder that our membership’s commitment to the neighborhood is recognized and admired across Oshkosh.
Thank you to everyone! It's the board members, committee members, and all those who were willing to give their time and participate in our neighborhood events that earned this award.
Abbreviated Operation Clean Sweep

'Landscape Design & Our Community'
Sponsored by the Millers Bay Neighborhood Association Board and Streetscape Committee
It was great seeing many of you at the annual meeting. Alex Thill gave a wonderful presentation on “strategies for creating a cohesive neighborhood landscape.” If you missed it, please see the video of the presentation below. You can download the PDF of the presentation here: https://docdro.id/JRRHhCp. On the last two pages there are several resources for those looking for landscaping ideas.
We also discussed the many accomplishments of our various committees over the past year, and you can see a summary of those accomplishments below. Thank you very much to everyone who shared their talents this year, it is inspiring and appreciated. If you would like to get involved, want to learn more about the association, or have an idea, please reach out to us by replying to this e-mail. We want to hear from everyone!
Finally, we thanked Patty Lorfeld for her years of enthusiastic service, and welcomed two new members to our Board of Directors: Anne Ruby and Mushe Subulwa. Anne and Mushe are both enthusiastic about Millers Bay and we are thrilled to have them step up to serve. If you have not met them I encourage you to chat them up at our next event, they are great.
As always, stay tuned for more updates, and follow us on Facebook to get the latest information.

P.S. Mark down June 22nd on your calendars. The 22nd will be a neighborhood day featuring a dumpster, and a chance to donate items to St. Vincent de Paul.
